I think everything posted made a ton of sense. However, what about this? suppose you added a little information? I am not saying your content isn't good., however what if you added something that makes people desire more? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is kinda plain. You should peek at Yahoo's home page and note how they create post titles to get people to open the links. You might add a related video or a related pic or two to get readers interested about everything've written. Just my opinion, it would make your posts a little livelier.
